The Pebbles - Rock Concert

(PPR-004 - 1993) The Pebbles first Planet Pimp single is less intentionally goofy than the label’s first releases. The music is Japanese, all-girl garage rock. It’s pretty light and poppy and has silly lyrics like the "mmmm..how much!" that’s just tacked on the end of "We’re Going Shopping". "I Wanna Be Loved by You" is not the old song Betty Boop used to sing. Both songs on this single are a rockin’ good tyme. You gotta love the contortionist guitar chord featured in the cover photo.
